NDP -WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Following a very successful workshop held in the Parish Hall on 11 January 2022 and attended by 35 residents, our planning consultant Louise Kirkup has combined all the great work done by residents at that workshop and produced a first draft of the vision, objectives and key themes for the Parishes’ NDP. You can see that document here Vision, Objectives and Key Themes – First Draft 17.01.21
This document has now been sent out to the 80 residents who have given their email address and there will also be a few printed copies available at the Post Office in the Parish Hall. The next key date is Monday 21st February at 7pm in the Parish Hall where residents come together again to discuss and agree changes to this first draft document. Once that has been done we will then have an agreed final draft to go into the draft version of the NDP.
The 21st February event will follow the same format as the 11th January event. Depending on numbers attending groups of residents will check the documents received from Kirkwells with their earlier work on flip charts. The Kirkwells documents contain four questions which will be answered by the groups which will then modify the documents and feedback the changes to all other attendees. Once all the attendees are in agreement with the final comments the documents will then be the final draft of the vision, objectives and key themes which will form an important part of the draft NDP.
