Declaration of Result of Poll – Pencombe with Grendon Warren

Following a very successful workshop held in the Parish Hall on 11 January 2022 and attended by 35 residents, our planning consultant Louise Kirkup has combined all the great work done by residents at that workshop and produced a first draft of the vision, objectives and key themes for the Parishes’ NDP.  You can see that document here Vision, Objectives and Key Themes – First Draft 17.01.21

This document has now been sent out to the 80 residents who have given their email address and there will also be a few printed copies available at the Post Office in the Parish Hall.  The next key date was Monday 21st February at 7 pm in the Parish Hall where residents come together again to discuss and agree changes to this first draft document.  Once that has been done we will then have an agreed final draft to go into the draft version of the NDP.

The 21st February workshop went well and eventually all the comments were drawn together and integrated into the first draft document shown above.  This final draft vision, aims and key themes was approved by the Parish Council at its meeting on June 28 2022.  The document is available here- Integrated Vision, Objectives and Key Themes from workshop

Also at the June 28 meeting Council agreed that a “Call for Sites” should be issued.  This step involves asking landowners to submit development sites suitable for housing within the Parishes.  Any sites submitted will the be assessed by technical specialists and those sites that pass the assessment may go forward into the draft NDP.
